Treasure Island

J.L. Mann High School Academy presented its Spring 2007 play, Robert Louis Stevenson's TREASURE ISLAND adapted by Ara Watson: April 13 (7:30 PM), 14 (7:30 PM), 15 (3 PM), 19 (7:30 PM), & 20 (7:30 PM) in the J.L. Mann High School Auditorium. "One boy's thrilling adventure in search of buried treasure on a distant and mysterious island...complete with stolen map, pirates, swashbuckling battles, betrayal, and the infamous Long John Silver, who just may be the 'devil himself!'"

The play has been blocked.

This means that we've determined where in the Auditorium everything will take place. Kind of like building a house...and it's been framed-in. Sticks. The most basic, three dimensional representation of what is to come. No costumes, no sets, props, lighting or sound. Just actors...mostly not bumping into the furniture.

When do we open? How many days?

Nevermind. I'm starting to feel nervous.

My brain hurts from it all.

but it's not from blocking or costume working, it's from the amass of people that are so.......
